We have worked to build a seamless, collaborative, and user-friendly platform to connect agents and help ensure their clients’ wellbeing. Our platform offers features for referral based partnerships that include the following benefits to Agents;

  • The ability to directly message other agents
  • Filter agents by states, cities, and lines of business
  • Build personal profiles, similar to that of LinkedIn, to showcase experience; and
  • List coverages for which your clients are in need of assistance with.

Transactions between agents can occur in the following ways.

Referral fees: agents can pass on customers in return for an agreed-upon fee between both parties.

Trading clients: Rather than including referral fees or other monetary transactions between agents, an option is to pass on client(s) for help in return for another agent’s client(s) for a specific line of business neither agent personally writes.

Purchasing leads: As an extended option, AIC does provide the ability to sell leads to other agents.

Customers coverage needs can be thoroughly met through the development of trusting partnerships between fellow Agents, allowing each Agent to mutually build their books of business? AIC’s comprehensive platform is focused on broadening agencies’ and agents’ services without shifting their expert focus on their primary line(s) of insurance.

How AIC Came to Life

Founded in 2024, American Insurance Collaborative was launched with the intention of becoming a national referral program for insurance agents. Our founding goals were to end lead-chasing, cold calling, expand agencies’ footprints, and build mutually beneficial relationships that can expand books of business. We are invested in forming a structured, more streamlined referral network that creates reliable streams of income, increase customers’ experiences through leveraging agent skill sets and expertise, while establishing coast-to-coast opportunities.

AIC was built with having one its foundational goal- exclusivity. Contrary to standard cases of prospective customers submitting online lead generation request forms, our agent-to-agent partnerships intend to foster trusting relationships where one’s client(s) are referred to a partner agent that will help meet their insurance needs. We champion ethical and professional practices and believe that by working collaboratively, all members of our online community can grow their businesses.

Our Founder

After nearly 20 years in disability rights and holding several positions in healthcare, our founder, Tim DaGiau, received his master’s in Healthcare Administration and went on to work in mental health. Soon thereafter, he began selling ACA, Medicare Advantage, and under 65 private plans. His client pipeline was developed through referrals from agents within his community that he had partnered with to expand their services. Witnessing the value and close rate that could burgeon from working in tandem with fellow agents, he invested into creating a platform to foster a national network of agents that could partner to increase the success of their operations.
